The fruit in this pack forms the central core of all cocktail garnish. You would be pretty hard pressed to find a cocktail that does not call for at least one of these ingredients.
We give you oranges from Spain. These beauties are of course organic, vegan and bursting with vitamin C and sunshine.
The ones we use are medium sized and plump full of juice. Their lightly dimpled skin is simply scrubbed in cold water and sliced. We aim at two millimetre slice widths, but as our attention wanders - never a great thing with knives around - so the thickness varies. Generally we aim at giving you the full wheel slice, but if the fruit are just a bit bigger, we go for the half moon effect to ensure it fits in all size glasses, from a tall slim Tom Collins to a fat and generous Copa glass.
The next most prolific ingredient in your bag, you will notice is lemon. These babies are also organic, unwaxed and Spanish. One thing with these, is that they are bountiful with the pips, we do try to flick them away wherever we spot them, but one or two might sneak through.
No drinks cabinet should ever be without a lime and these zesty little babes are indispensable for the mixologist. Hailing from Mexico these are a lovely solid little fruit that leaves us with virtually zero waste due to pith or the plug end.
Then you see our pink, organic Spanish grapefruit, deliciously bitter, we cut these into half or even quarter moons.
Strawberries, blueberries and raspberries are of course organically grown. The strawberries are simply washed sliced, the raspberies are washed and left whole. The blueberries have a wash, a quick blanch and a rest in the freezer before going into the dehydrator.
